Hi Everyone,
Yeah I have my first new blog post up on my new blog. Come and check out 10 day old Baby X, he’s so cute.
Hi Everyone,
Sorry that I have not been posting for such a long time I have been flat out getting ready to launch my new website YEAH.
Then I can’t believe I got the dreaded flu that’s been going around. I’m not having a great winter, I never get much of anything and this winter I was not well in June and then now I have been the sickest I’ve ever been in my life and seriously I am SO not joking. I don’t know how far spread this flu is but I know that in Western Australia a lot of people are getting hit with it. The worst thing is that it is the full blown flu that knocks you for 6, and when I say 6 I think I mean 100. It is so bad it’s just not funny, then to top it off I ended up with bronchitis which a lot of people are getting from this flu. I’ve never been so sick and I now appreciate the fact that I am usually so healthy. Bronchitis is quite frightening, not being able to breathe properly is not a nice thing and it takes forever to go away. So in total I have been unwell for about 3 weeks. At least now I am just about back to my normal old self, woohoo.
So I would recommend dosing up on vitamin c, eat healthy, keep yourself warm, try to relax so you keep your stress levels down and give yourself a break! Just my suggestion for keeping flu free.
Anyway to get on with what I am really wanting to tell everyone, my new website and blog has been launched so please come on over and check it out. I will keep this blog for the time being until I can get everything changed over and then I will end up shutting it down.
My web address is http://www.andreagreenphotography.com and the new blog link is http://www.andreagreenphotography.com/home/blog/
Hope to see you all there to check out my new baby, maternity and landscape posts that are coming.
Cheers
Andrea
This is the very cute Hayley. She was about a week old when I took her photos.
I tell you what she made me work hard to get the photos of her but it was so worth it. The poor little thing just didn’t like me touching her, every time I did anything to her she stirred and then cried. I like to think that I’m usually pretty darn good with babies, they fall asleep great for me, I absolutely adore shooting them, and I just love being around them, but this day she just didn’t want a bar of me. I felt like such a meanie. Anyway we ended up with some great photos so I am definately not complaining.
Thanks so much to her lovely Mum for being so patient. Hope you guys like the photo. What do you think the portrait or landscape photo?
Sorry to everyone who usually follows my blog on a regular basis, I had been unwell for a week and then my daughter was really crook so I have not had a chance to get onto the computer let alone post anything. Finally all is going great again and I have some new things to post on the blog, Yeah I’m starting to catch up again.
My cousin Tracey and her hubby Shane had the most gorgeous baby girl named Kalani and I am so lucky that I was able to do some newborn photos of her.
I haven’t seen Tracey in so long it’s ridiculous, you loose touch with family so easily as you get older and you all have your own family to take care of. We were talking and how bad is it that her hubby met all of us for the first time at a funeral. I decided that getting together for a new baby is way better and thought bugger this we’re having a cousins get together, why not? It’s a good way for all of us to keep in touch and get to know each other again.
Anyway here is one of the shots I got of the gorgeous Kalani, she was the best baby to shoot. She didn’t really stir at all and I was finally able to get a baby in this pose. I am so excited, this pose is quite difficult to get as babies don’t always want to be put into some poses and recently ever bub that I tried just didn’t want a bar of it so we did other things instead. You ALWAYS have to listen to what the baby does and doesn’t like, and I can tell you they will certainly let you know if they don’t like it.
Anyways what do you think? I think this shot looks great and Kalani is just adorable?
Here is another flower that I had a go at. I am so hopeless with flowers that I don’t even know what type of flower this is. If anyone knows please do tell.
This photo was taken down in Dwellingup as well.
This is a spot where we love to go camping. The camp ground is on a river and it has a section that we call the rapids. They’re aren’t really big rapids or anything like that but the kids think it’s fun to go down “The Rapids.” It depends on whether there is a lot of water or not as to what photo’s you can get there, if the water is flowing heaps and the water level is high you get shots like this one, if the water is low you can get lot’s of little waterfall type shots.
It’s really cool to have the variety and you don’t know what your going to get until you get there. It’s a surprise every time.
I posted a shot of Woodman Point quite a while ago and I thought it was awesome. Somehow I overlooked this one which I think is heaps better so I thought why not post it, so here it is.
There are so many cool looking Pinnacles. You have ones that just look like big rocks, some like dinosaurs and some like my funny face Pinnacle. It’s so much fun looking at all of the different shapes, sizes, faces and all sorts, you can just keep shooting and shooting and you just don’t get bored.
I love this photo, I think it looks like a really cool one eyed face.
I don’t really do macro photography and I’m not a real flowery kind of person but I like to have a go at different things, I’m always up for a challenge and I love meeting new people and getting fresh ideas and inspiration. Anyway I had a go at some flowers and here’s one of the shots I took of a neighbours frangipani. I actually really like frangipani’s which is one of the few flowers that I do really like.
